Kylian Mbappe Hat-Trick Inspires PSG to Emphatic Win at Barcelona

Kylian Mbappe became only the third player to score a Champions League hat-trick against Barcelona as Paris Saint-Germain took a giant step towards the quarterfinals with a 4-1 win at the Camp Nou on Tuesday.

The French forward put the visitors ahead in the 32nd minute, firing home from close range after being set up by Neymar. Lionel Messi equalized for Barcelona just before halftime, but Mbappe restored PSG's lead in the 65th minute with a stunning strike from outside the box.

Mbappe completed his hat-trick in the 85th minute, tapping in from close range after a brilliant run by Neymar. Moise Kean added a fourth for PSG in injury time to seal a famous victory for the French champions.

The result leaves Barcelona with a mountain to climb in the second leg at the Parc des Princes on March 10. PSG will be confident of progressing to the last eight, while Barcelona will need to produce a special performance if they are to overturn the deficit.
